Hi, I’m Grayson
Founder of Saltwater Souls Counseling—one of the few practices in Florida devoted exclusively to LGBTQ+ mental health.

Youth & teens | safe identity exploration
Parents & caregivers | practical, affirming coaching
Couples | Gottman- and EFT-based communication & intimacy work with an attachment focus
Community circles | peer connection and real-life practice
Expect evidence-based care, light-hearted humor, and collaborative goals that fit real life.
Ready to work with a Florida based therapist who truly gets your life?
My Approach
At Saltwater Souls Counseling, I merge mental-health science with time-tested insight to deliver sessions that are both deeply personalized and reliably effective. For LGBTQ+ couples, I blend the research-backed Gottman Method with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to rebuild trust, improve communication, and reignite intimacy—whether you’re monogamous, open, or poly. Individual work draws from CBT, Internal Family Systems, attachment work, psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness to ease anxiety, heal identity wounds, and strengthen self-worth.
You’ll meet in a warm, humor-friendly space that honors your identity, relationships, and lived experience. Together we’ll keep what already works for you, gently replace what doesn’t, and chart practical next steps. Sessions are available in St. Petersburg, the greater Tampa Bay area, or via secure online therapy anywhere in Florida. My goal is simple: help you move through life’s waves with clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of wholeness.
